InterCaribbean the Turks and Caicos based airline continues to grow its network and February will see its first arrival into St Lucia.
Travel agents and tour operators tend to look at the practical before the beautiful which is why they are so often better at organizing trips than most of us. And practical is what makes InterCaribbean so good. They have and continue to be busy tying up agreements with the major airlines such as British Airways so when your flights are booked say to Beef Island in the BVI it is done as one transaction. So what you may think, until your BA flight has been delayed at Gatwick by fog and your onward flight to Beef island has long departed by the time you reach Antigua. This is when the detail counts because now the airlines work together to get you on to the next available flight to Beef Island and if required will also arrange overnight accommodation as well! Of course in the old days it always used to be that way, but now when everyone is an expert and saving you 50p, these little, but important details get missed.
InterCaribbean will continue to grow and build relationships so unless you’re an ‘island-hopper’ when holidaying or visiting the BVI they may not immediately be on your radar.
Oh, and the beautiful bits – comfy seats, friendliness of staff? Yes InterCaribbean do that as well. They’re not bad with timekeeping and if everyone’s ready they’re not averse to leaving early if air traffic allows.
